Happiness...A dream to some...

What is happiness? To some, is to have lots of money. For others, is to go travelling. To mi, my only wish is just to have a simple but happy family, but seems like I can achieve that only in my dream...

Actually, i did enjoyed myself last night. 1st time attending XF and YY's slot. YY appear to be cool, but she's actually very friendly and someone who i can get along with. Really felt happy...untill i receive a call from mum this morning.

Another "war" has started again...this news is more than enough to destroy all the happy cells inside mi. My mum did nothing wrong at all, she dun deserve all these rubbish at all!! I dun wish to elaborate what exactly happen...all i can say is, i really envy those families where father, mum and children sit down and chat to each other, laugh together, joke together. And when children are hurt, they can turn to their parents for a listening ear. All these will never happen on mi...

I'm already stressed at work. And all these problems just seems like pounding on mi one after another. Im really...really tired of all these...really...sometimes, just felt like leaving this world, once and for all...

Now, all i can do is to focus on my singing...guess tats the only way where i can divert my attention away from those unhappiness stuff. And im glad to meet some zhi1 yin1 ren2 along the way...

Well, even a thousand or a million words will not be able to describle my feelings right now...so, shall end here....

So Funny!!

Just a short entry...
Today, when i was going out of my office lift lobby to buy lunch, an indian guy asked mi-
"Where is the backside?"

I was stunned for a while before answering him...almost laughed out but i didn't coz it's not very nice to do that. But i really find it very funny!! What he meant was= where is the rear end? But instead, he used the word "backside"...hahahaha...*ops*

But felt that he was quite rude when asking mi. Did not even say "excuse mi" and "thank you"...he asked in a way as if I owed him an answer like tat...quite angry...but..suan le. =) No point angry over a small matter like this.

Some updates on audition-
This morning, 1st thing i did when reached office was to check the audition results...and it's out!! My friend managed to get into the final round!! Really...really happy for her!! I think she has got a clear and nice voice...really hope she can be one of the singer there. =)
Ok, that shall be all for today. Going to have my dinner...ya..having my dinner at 5pm+. Kiasu right? hahaha..no la, coz going somewhere after work later, so got to eat now. See u!! (^u^)

Lesson cancelled last min...

Yup, supposed to have class last night, but YX sms around 3pm+ said that she can't make it this week. At that moment, I guessed tat she's going down to see the others audition. My 6th sense...hee...

Actually, I also wanted to see hows the audition going on, so, also good tat the lesson was cancelled...=p Reached there around 7pm+. This time, as an audience, not an auditionist. Frankly speaking, there's still this weird feeling inside mi...but, I must admit I'm still not up to tat standard yet. Still very "raw"...

The atmosphere last night was very intense, with judges sitting in front staring!! Just like project superstar. I choose a sit very near the entrance...despite tat, it's still very cold!!! Freezing down there!! Not long after, saw aunt edwin, kim & YX. See...my 6th sense sometimes also quite accurate de!! =D (Although it is not accurate about 90% of the time!Hahaha)
Aunt edwin is playing for the auditionists, so many accompanists last night!

Saw xin ying they all coming in one after another...im there partly to support them too. =)
Quite amazed by the 2nd auditionist's voice. She sang Stephanie's Wo3 Huai2 Nian4 De...very nice and powerful voice!! Waited till almost 9+...it's finally xin ying's turn. Personnally, i felt that she is one of the best among all...i liked her voice very much!! Really hope she can get in, at least help to fullfil the dreams of those who are not able to make it there, including the one typing this naggy blog...=')

Everthing ended about 10pm plus, much early then i expected. The last auditionist was a guy, one of the song he sang was "Chun2 Zhen1" by Mayday. Why i remember this song? Because...IT'S MY HOMEWORK FOR NEXT MONTH!! And...i never sang this song before. Only heard it i think...2 times, including last night. *faint* Guess im going to have a hard time catching the pitching again...anyway, nothing is going to be easy ever since i have decided to take this route. To make things worst, im a slow learner. Hopefully, my hardwork will lead mi to somewhere at the end of the day...and i'll never give up!! =)

YX shared her story about how she managed to overcome her problem last time...i believe she really went through lots of hardships before reaching where she is now. Also, i believe people like aunt edwin, kim & ayden they all also put in lots and lots of effort and hardwork before attaining their current status...they are my life example.

So, jia you everybody in whatever u do!! =D

Rainy Day...

Ya...it had been raining since morning..but luckily, the rain stopped before i went out for lunch.

Woke up quite late today, dun feel like working =p..but still, got to force myself to get up! As usual, rushed like mad and had my breakfast...was drizzling (correct spelling?) outside. Dashed out of house at 9am!! (Im supposed to start work at 9am!!) Fortunately, I just need 15mins to reach my workplace...hee..despite being very late, i still plug in my ear piece and listen to songs as i walked coz tats the only way to wake mi up. =)

But suprisingly, time seems to past very fast today...and now...IT'S TIME TO KNOCK OFF!!!! hahaha..=D

Guess it's because I had a very "lazy" weekends, tats y im so lazy today...my weekends can simply be describled using 2 words...EAT & SLEEP!! (of course, besides the usual house chords and practising la)..long time din really spend my weekends like this liao..hee..

k...this shall be all...nothing much to blog. Meeting chikenmama and others for dinner tonight, to celebrate chikenmama's birthday. She asked about my pimples tat day...im undergoing facial treatment now..it's bacteria infection *sigh*...went for facial last fri, got to go back 2 weeks later...and the previous treatment cost mi $60!!! Hai...looks like im really going to eat grass if my face still dun recover...*broke* But it seems better after the 1st treatment...

Class

It's Fri again tml!! *yeah* Finally it's weekend...
Had lesson last night...but rushed to optical shop before lesson as my specticles was broken!! And the replacement cost mi $40!! *heart pain* Dun think I'm going to get another frameless spec next time round coz it's too fragil..(or is it i too cho lo?) hahaha...

Din have time for dinner...only managed to buy a bread from bread talk on the way...actually planned to eat it after lesson, since i'm not tat hungry.

Surprisingly, i was very early for class!! =D Met Liping in the toilet. YX was still having class so mi and Liping "sneaked" inside the keyboard room and play!! Hee...mi suddenly felt so hungry and took out my bread and eat! =p

Not long later, aunty edwin came, followed by shuling. Then, YX just finished the previous class and it's our turn. *yeah*

We had 5 of us in class last night, considered quite a big group coz usually only 3. There's one part of the skill practise tat we really burst out laughing!!! Hahaha..cannot control man!! So funny till we could not continue with the practise!! And guess who started the laughter??
Yes...it's YX!!! Hahaha...

No choice, since everyone of us kept on laughing, got to skip tat part and move on to go through our song...and...YX started something funny again lo!!! Coz we r singing "Ta1 Yi2 Ding4 Hen3 Ai4 Ni3" by
A-Du, den she said something really funny about the lyrics-the part where tat guy hid under the car!!!! Wahahaha...everyone started laughing again!! Cham liao lo...how to sing like tat?? Hahahahaha....

But, luckily i din laugh out when it's my turn to sing...coz i try to picture the lyrics out...it's actually a very sad scene..but when the gal beside mi sang...i saw YX laughing secretly!! See her laugh i also can't control my laughter le...but i try to keep it to the minimal so as not to affect tat student!! (I'm actually laughing to myself right now while typing coz it's really so funny lo!!)hahaha....not because her singing is funny, but is the way YX's joke about the lyrics!!wahaha..

k...enough of the nonsense..=p

Well, I have been busy learning new songs and practising these few weeks...coz as time goes by, more of my problems are discovered...And I'm trying very hard to ractify them. In one of my earlier post, I already apologise to my friends whom i neglected...but, somehow, some people just dun undertsand the situation i'm in right now...*sigh* Suan le...I'm also too busy and tired to explain further. As for those who have been supporting mi...i really...really appreciated it!! Thank you!! =)

k..k..time to go home liao..and practise tat "very funny song"..hahahaha...anyway, not sure if YX happen to read my blog (which i dun think so la), but if so, i really sincerely wan to thank u for making our lesson so interesting and enjoyable...which at least helps mi to forget all the troubles for that hour! Thanks *muacks* =D

Updates...

Finally, sat performance was over...

It was raining SO heavily on sat morning, and the rain last till 5pm+...and I'm worried from morning till 5pm+ coz i really dun wished the performance to be cancelled =(. But fortunately, rain finally stopped before i left home!! =D

Reached there around 6.30pm and "reserved" a table at food court. YX, Kim and SH came around 6.45pm and we had dinner together...1st time meeting SH and I mistaken him for YQ!! =p Din really talk to him coz think still not familiar with him ba..he only joined us for dinner and rushed off to somewhere after that.

As usual, YX and Kim went up stage...while i went up stairs and waited. Auntie Edwin din join us for dinner, he was already preparing the stuff on stage when i saw him.

About 8pm+, YX signal mi to go down and get myself prepared. While waiting at the side of the stage, a customer suddenly asked mi- "U singing har?" den, he passed mi some requested songs...i was a bit shocked coz i was trying to recall.."Do I know him? Or does he knows mi?" hahaha..but I did ans him-"Ok, i will pass to the singers, thanks!" Coz I'm only a student ma...still not an "official singer" there yet...=p

Then, went up soon after that...as usual...auntie edwin kept disturbing mi *Bish* But also not bad la...at least he distracted mi so tat I wun feel so nervous...=)

Coincidently (or rather unfortunately), a customer dedicated the song "Yue1 Ding4", which I'm going to sing. I felt a bit pressurised coz when audience dedicated the song, they will expect some standards from mi...so afraid that I would disappoint them!! So, I did all the best i could..happy to say...everything went smoothly!! =D Must thanks Kim for excellent coordination!

But...something went wrong with my 2nd song. I missed the sequence!!
=( Just dunno y i suddenly lost track of where i m...luckily, YX came to "rescue" mi...*sigh*

After listening to the recordings, discovered my same old problem-pitching...but think overall, it was better than my 1st performance there last month. Tao will be under renovation soon...so.......*sigh*

Btw, really loved the songs "Ta1 Bu Ai4 Wo3" & "Ting1 Shuo1 Ai4 Qin2 Hui2 Lai2 Guo4" sang by YX!!!! SOooooooooo nice man!!!!! *claps...claps...claps..."

Good news...? Bad news...?

This morning received an sms from YX...i knew it was regarding the updates on Tao...to confirm whether we will be performing this week...

I hesitated before opening as im really scare it was a bad news. But when i saw the 1st word, "Yeah.." knew its got to be a good news!! Tml performance is NOT cancelled!! *yeah*

But...sooner or later, renovation will still take place and we will soon be unable to perform there...*sigh*...it's my 2nd time there tml...and hope it's not the last time...=(

Going back sch for practise later after work...cant tok much...got to work now...will post some updates soon...=)

Devastating News...

Received a call from YX just now...

YX -"Gal, got a bad news for u...Tao management said there are some renovation work commencing soon, but dunno when. They will let mi know tml. That means we may not able to perform this sat le...call u tml again to confirm..."

Something that I looked forward to so much everyday, something that I kept counting down every minute is going to vanish just like that...can anyone understand my feelings? Maybe u will say is only going to stop for a while, can perform once renovation is done...but still...very disappointed and sad...=''''(

"U wun understand"- this sentence has been my kou3 tou2 can2...but dunno y whenever i say this, ling will be pissed off...i personally felt tat is nothing wrong with this sentence coz mi is mi, and I'm the one who understand myself best...so others will never 100% understand how i felt...and my feelings...ok..I'm already upset enough, dun wish to dwell on this question anymore...

Suppose to meet Kim at sch for practise today, and go aqh after that...but now, dun even know whether got chance to perform...so practise postponed.

Audience nite...

Last night audience nite was a "stressful" one, with so many singers there.
But nevertheless, I did enjoyed myself. Now, I learn to take things easy...especially ever since last week's lesson. YX sort of "brain-washed" mi. Although she was not referring to mi (I hope not), but I really learnt a lot from her! Learnt to looked at things from a different angle...learnt how to "see" things...Thanks YX!! *muacks* =p

Due to time constraint, only got to sang 2 songs...but think is enough for mi already coz these are the 2 songs tat i never tried to sing on stage before.Hmm..actually not so satisfied with my performance after listening to the recordings...need to note down the mistakes tonight, and hopefully will perform better on sat. =)

There's a gal who sang A-mei's song so well last night...she's so good tat all singers encouraged her to join in the audition, and she did. Got a feeling tat she will get in...
How i wish I'm as good as her...but i will work hard towards it. =)

After the show ended, k music gave mi and noname some fried rice and yogurt that he brought back from his hotel...i mean the hotel he is working in...hahaha...great chef!

And I had them for lunch today...

Updates on last weekends...

*Sigh* It's Monday again...how I wish weekends last longer =p
Just some updates...

Sat-
As usual, woke up around 11pm + and do all the chores *boring*. Then, mama suggested tat we go for seafood in the evening!! *Yeah* Coz she promised to treat mi "salted egg crab" if she won 4D...and she really won last week!! I loved this dish ever since the 1st time i tried! =D

So, we went turf city (Owen restaurant) to have this favourite dish of mine!! Hee..
1stly, we have to go to the "market area" located outside their restaurant to pick our seafood...all alive ones ok...quite scary actually. Anyway, we choosen a fish, prawns and of course CRABS!!! Hahaha..since there's only 4 of us (mama,sis, aunt and mi), we did not really order tat much. Really loved their prawns and crabs!!! *yummy*
We finish dinner around 10pm and took shuttle bus to clementi MRT station...=)

Sun-
Woke up around 10am+. Had some biscuits before ironing my clothes...*sigh*
Tidied up my desk...cannot remember when was the last time i did tat =p
Threw lots of unwanted books aways, mostly all my poly notes..some even dated in 2004!! hahaha...
I tot tat will only take mi about 1 hour or so...but i ended up tidying it for 3hrs!!!!!!!! *faint*
Was so tired after tat but i still have one very important thing to do!! PRACTISE SONGS!! I haven even started practise the songs for Tao...and my songs for audience night...

So, went on to practise...and practise...and practise...sad to say..i still cannot manage to solve my biggest problem- Pitching...='( Maybe I should listen to YX's advice and take up keyboard. But tat would mean i got to cut down my expenses...hope i can win lottery soon..

It's audience night tonight!! And I will be singing the 2 songs tat I'm going to sing at Tao..coz really no time to prepare more songs =p
It's the 1st time i attend Xue feng's audience night..din see him before....just hope everything will be fine...=)

A Blur Robort...

Was on MC yesterday...
Yesterday morning, I woke up feeling something not very right, both of my shoulders were soooooooo heavy!! I tot it was nothing serious and so, went to prepare for work as usual.

But soon, realised tat my neck was in great pain...so painful that I cannot even bend to brush my teeth! *faint* No choice, got to bear with the pain and rush for work (coz i over slept) =p
When reached office, the pain was getting more serious, till I can't even bend down to look at the keyboard..*sigh* I always have stiff neck problem, but it never get so serious before!

How to work with a neck like this?? So, went to see doc and took a day's MC...reached home around 12pm+...and guess wat my niece called mi when i reached home? "Robort...robort...like tat..." then, she imitate the action of a robort!! Hahaha...so funny!!! Actually, I did look like a robort yesterday. Can u imagine whenever i need to look left/right, i got to turn my whole shoulder coz i cannnot turn my neck! hahaha...

Took medication and sleep.....zzzzzzzzzzz....till around 3pm+. Still in great pain...so decided to cook green bean soup to "cool down". Was so lazy that I really dun feel like moving around..

After dinner, the medication started to work and the pain was reducing. (Luckily)...And, I'm back to work today with a bit of "pain-in-the neck". Actually planned to go visit melon's, peipei's and the trio's slot tonight...but dun think I can make it with this painful neck...so got to give it a miss...*sigh* Just hope that this pain will be gone soon as i need to practise my songs over the weekends...haven started practise the songs for Tao...die...die...

k...tat shall be all...neck pain...no mood to type more...=p

Sun- A tedious day...

Audition results were out on sat night...and i'm actually very sad and disappointed in myself..
Din manage to even get in for the 1st round. At tat instance, felt tat all my hardwork went down the drain...

But on a second thought, I have only just begin to learn singing less than 3 months...so, din get in this time round is not surprising. There is still a long way to go...just tat i need sometime to get over it. *sigh* If I say Im totally ok now, I'm lying.

But I'm really glad to have friends like Ling, YB and k music...thanks for supporting guys! I really...really...appreciated tat.

Dun have much mood to blog about this anymore...give mi sometime to recover k? Meanwhile, I will work even harder and hopefully, next year i will be good enough to get in.

It's really good to have mama cooking the dishes i like when I'm sad...

Sat- Breakfast party with chikenmama

Woke up ard 7am on sat to attend the Lancaster breakfast party at OG Albert...
The q has already started when i reached...not long, Cindy came and joined in the q. After about 15 mins, the registration began. This was a breakfast party to promote Lancaster products...as usual, I'm there to take samples coz not used to using their products, Also there to help take pictures...=p

Recently had breakout on my face...pimples all over! Guess is due to all the stress and pressure...

What upset mi most is when people asked what happen to my face...*sigh*
When chikenmama saw mi, she asked the same question...she was shocked to see all pimples on my face...=''''(

She recommended a product where can be found at bugis. She tried and it works! So since I'm around tat area, went to buy it after the breakfast party...cost $39 for a small tube. No choice..
She also recommended mi to go facial at coslab (because she's the spoke person for it ma!) hahaha...maybe going to try out this fri...really dislike all the pimples on my face!
