Third week....

This is the 3rd week working in this new company. Overall, colleagues and managers are good. But the workload is.........%#@!*&..... really felt like drowning inside the pile of workload. Dun even have time to breath.....*Sigh*

I really dun wish to give up so fast. I wanted to learn...but sometimes, really drown. Worst part is, this week is the company's year end closing. Blame myself for choosing such a "right" time joining. Hai...Today, really have this big question mark in my mind...whether to stay or look for a better choice. I will take a step at a time....see how 1st.

But I'm glad to have friends by my side when im feeling down...esp YX. She has been there all these while to cheer mi up and to 分担我的快乐，不快乐....Just like last Sat. After lessons, she accompanied mi down to sign up for audition. After that, we went for dinner at marina sq. And we talked about lots of things...things that i have bottom up for so long. And as usual, cant hold back my tears.....and i must say...i really felt much better after pouring out my story to her. I'm glad 老天让我遇见了她..(Hey, im normal ok...dun anyhow think ar!) Hee...she's just like a mama to mi. And she's the one who understand wat im going thru...or went thru.

After dinner, we went to vivo to buy salad cream that yx is looking for at market place. Sad to say...can't find the one she want. I also bought a box of uncle's toby muslim bars. Loved their choc ones and i still remembered i never failed to buy a bar from my poly minimart everyday on the way home!! But this time round i bought the mixed fruits ones...hmm...nice taste but a bit too sweet for mi. =(

After tat, we went to pacific cafe to have a drink. Sad to say...all swing seats fully occupied!! Is a bit expected since its sat night. But luckily, managed to find a table seat inside. Not so bad after all...and we ordered some drinks and desert and chat...

Left vivo around 10+. Took a FOC cab home coz yx dropped mi on her way home!! hahaha..Thanks mama! =)

Sun met A and CL at pasir ris around 1pm coz we r going for chalet to celebrate wq's birthday. The 3 of us went to buy a cake before checking in the chalet. The others came n later. Really had fun tat night...esp the part where the guys chased wq with banana milk!! hahaha...coz he hate bananas.....Hahahaha....

I left the chalet at around 10+, while the others still playing board games. How i wish i had taken a day leave and stayed there longer. But no leave for mi to claim for the 1st 3 months...if really needed, got to take unpaid leave. Hai...

It's 10+ now....time to go ZZZ..got to wake up at 5 am later. But d good news is...weekends are just 2 days away!! Yeah!!! =D

New Beginning(s)....=)

*Phew* Finally one week is over!! And yesterday marked the 1st week of my new job! =D
Frankly speaking...i really like and enjoy working there!! Finance head and colleagues quite good! But workload wise is 100x more than my previous job. And im still at the "learning stage". But so far so good. Although is a bit tiring with all the reconciliations and so on....but life is good down there! Hee..

And the coincidence is...now, one of the customer's account im in charge of is actually the company where I had my poly internship!!!!!! Hahaha...can't disclose which this company is but those who close to mi should know where my internship was last time right? Ya..exactly! So coincident man! Another BIG customer under my "care" is a very reputable and famous company in Spore. Can't disclose either but im sure everyone would have probably own an item or two of this company's product in every home. Quite stressful actually but felt a sense of responsibility now in my current job, as compared to previous one! =D

Well, although im very satisfied with my working environment, im still adapting to the change la...esp the working hours!! Woke up at 5am everyday in order to catch the one-and-only company transport! And I slept throughout the whole journey...untill reaching office gate! Hahaha...

Of course, there are always pros and cons to things...can't expect something to be perfect. Ok...work aside...

Today is the 1st day of our keyboard intermediate class!! Im so happy! Just like being promoted...hee..but kim already warned us that now, things wun be as simple as beginner stage liao...=( I will jia u de! And hopefully, I can graduate in 6 months time and proceed to advance level! =D Whenever I felt tired, I will always remember this sentence that YX told mi..."Every effort that u put in will not be wasted...." This is wat motivates mi. =)

There will be somemore challenges coming up in Jul, besides coping with the new working environment(s). But I always believed in "Work hard and Play hard" logic! Tats the reason why mi, Jess and sh are going to book our bintan trip tickets next week!! Yeah Man! We have been looking forward to this sooooooooooo much! Met up for dinner with them last night...and today, we met up for lunch again. Our topic 总少不了our Bintan trip! Haha...so excited by merely planning out the itinery! And this sun going for chalet bbq to celebrate WQ's bday. But not forgetting my company's medical health check, my physiotherapthy appointment and my follow up appointment. Wow..ok...im fully packed again this coming weekends and next month. hahaha...never mind. At least im living a more meaningful life now! =)

I've Passed!!! I've Passed!!!!! =D

Yeah man!! I have passed my beginner keyboard exam!! Got 27/28 for theory!! The wrong ans was to a tricky question. But im still happy that i have passed!!

It was really a nervous and terrifying process...especially the practical part. I must say I did not perform my usual standard, simply bcoz my hands were trembling!!! The worst part was..I got the intro wrong and i stopped!!! *fainted* my mind just went totally blank. Luckily, Kim gave us a 2nd try. At last, 心中的大石总算放下了。Hee..from next week onwards, I will be staring my intermediate stage! And 6 months from next week onwards....will be another round of exam. Hai..

After my exam yesterday, went makan with YX, WQ and SH at a pasta restaurant at Shaw tower. 1st time trying the ravioli with mushroom! Sooooo yummy!! After dinner, went to catch the movie, "Kungfu Panda" with YX, WQ and Kim. Coz YX got discount vouchers. Hee.. It was a nice movie! Very funny! But i still cried when master 乌龟 left...='''( too emotional liao.

Went home after the movie. And today, im down with a flu..again! Hai...Tml will be starting my new job. Sort of mixture of feelings...a bit excited, a bit nervous, a bit reluctant (missed the shake leg period)..haha..but guess this is life. Got to move on..=)

Updates...

Went SGH for neck and shoulder check up early in morning yesterday. Result: Got to do physiotherapy in Jul, then Xray and follow-up in Aug. Hai...there goes my $$$ again!

Surprisingly, the whole process yesterday, including q-ing for medication took only about 1 hour plus! Tats fast! Think maybe its weekday, tats y..went central and ate something. Meeting friends in afternoon for hightea at Westin Hotel!! 1st time there!! Hahaha..

But time is still very early so i shopped around central a while...nothing much there. Met YX at TCM opposite central after tat. Saw her do her 足疗...looked painful! Tried to talk to her to distract her. After her appoinment, we went back sch and met Wq there, before we proceed to Westin. Met L at Westin lobby and up we went to the 70th storey!!!!! WOW!!!!

The view up there is sooooooooo nice man!!!! Thanks YX!! =D Food also not bad! Got sushi!! Hee.. Had a good chat while eating with them! Really enjoyed myself!!

We started about 3.30pm and finished eating around 5+. So full untill i din eat anything for dinner yesterday! After hightea, all of us went marina to walk around for a while before YX and WQ went for performance at night.

It was a fun day for mi!! Hee..but sad to say...it's going to be the end of my shake leg period...hai. Starting work(s) next week...ya..is work(s).....pural, not singular. Just added a "S" yesterday. Im not sure if I could make it....but if i dun try, who knows? =) sounds mistery hor? Will update u guys on details later la k? But i hope to work with people i enjoy working with...

Finally...it's over.

Yes...finally, it's over. 30 May 2008 (Fri) marked the end of my 2 years and 1 month in XXX company. Conflicts are unavoidable in working envionments...(i guess). But nonetheless, it's still heart-breaking to leave my boss and colleague...and....i cried when saying goodbye.

Well, wats over is over. Should not dwell on this anymore. The most important thing for now...to get myself fully charged before I embark on my new job. Although is just a week of "shake-leg" period, but it's better than nothing right? Hee..

Due to the timing and venue of my new job, I got to reschedule some of my duties/habits...mainly my class timing. Now, both my vocal and keyboard class have been shifted to weekends. Coz most probably got to do OT, so it's hard for mi to attend weekday classes. 2ndly is my habit- No more late nights for mi from next week onwards...hai...coz got to wake up at 5.30am every morning! *SOB SOB*
I dunno if I can adapt myself to this change. But, everyone needs a change. So, i know im doing the right thing.

Last thur had quite a long chat with SL over skype (during office hour of course). After that conversation with her, I finally woke up. Realised wat i have done or how i behaved in the past is childish. Actually, since the conversation with angela few months ago, i already woke up. But the conversation with SL last thur awaken mi further more...

I have promised them i will change. And im trying hard now. Will always remember wat YX, Angela and SL had taught mi...especially SL's "zero expectation" theory! Come to think of tat...it's so true man. And im really...really...feeling better by remembering this theory. Really glad to have them by my side. =) Thanks for guiding mi back onto the right path.

On the other hand, had a talk with a friend last week also. She is quite troubled over her work and friendship problem. Is painful to see tat she is upset. But luckily, she is able to settle part of her problem. The other part....well...i just hope tat watever decision she is going to make, she will be happy and enjoy wat she is doing.

Today, brought my niece to the disney restaurant at anchorpoint! She's so happy! But, the food there is so..so only and it's expensive! No choice...i promised to bring her there. Then, went over to ikea to eat mi and mama's fav chicken wings, followed by a shopping trip at AMK hub. Tried to control myself but i still ended up buying 3 shirts. Hee...=p . Dropped by at Tiong Bahru on the way home and I bought a book from popular. I really loved the book at 1st sight. Guess this is wat we always call fate ba... Din go audience night as im too tired liao...wasted.

Tml im meeting Sh, Jess and maybe the rest to have an early bday celebration for Jess! Time flies...we r already 2X years old. Hai..going to vivo for dinner. Yeah!

Wed Sh will be coming over to my place to practise for our keyboard exam. Coz 2 brains always work better than one!! hahaha..

Thur morning going for checkup at SGH for my backbone problem. After so many years of torture, it's really time to fix it. Coz I dun wish to find myself paralysed one day when i woke up. Then afternoon maybe going for hightea with friends!! Yeah!!
