HK-Day 3 (25.12.2007)

It's Xmas Day!!! And....finally got to try out the bo1 luo2 bao1 at a cafe nearby our hotel...

This is one of the set breakfast they have. Actually they come with a drink, a choice between hot milk tea and hot milk. Tot of trying out their hot milk but...after taking a sip...I CANNOT TAKE THE TASTE...eeee...too milky for mi!! So have to give up my drink to the others. Luckily I brought my water bottle along..Hee...

Saw this parking system outside the cafe..still dun understand how it works. Think the last time I saw such parking system was in Malaysia.

I sometimes wonder will these signboards fall down easily...=p hopefully not...

And program for the day...free and easy for the earlier part! After some discussion and browsing thru the maps, Shu ling and mi decided to go Tsim Sha Tsui again. But this time, other part of Tsim Sha Tsui. This part has more shops. Went into a gift shop immediately when we came out of the MTR station. Stuff inside are sooooo cute!!! But ex! After walking for quite a long time, saw this cafe called Xu3 Liu2 Xiang1. Shuling said is quite nice so we decided to give it a try...conclusion...WOW!!!! Had this bird nest steam egg..Around S$5+ and XO carrot cake. Yummy!!! =D

Heard from the others that actually Spore did have one franchise of this shop last time. But becoz taste is not so good....so ended up...closed down! Wasted..

After so many days in HK...finally managed to see this hmm..(not sure of its name). Is a kind of bus that runs on electronic wires on top of the bus. Too bad..no chance to try riding on it.

And...as usual, we spend most of the time shopping around Tsim Sha Tsui area. We planned to go to the peak in the evening. But before that, we had our dinner in a restaurant. And it's famous for its roast goose..which is considered to be the BEST in HK!!! But after trying.....i believe some stalls in Spore is even better than theirs. This is considered the most expensive dinner we had so far...but a good try la!!

On the way to the peak tram station...we walked thru the famous Lan Kwai Fong (see above). Coz it's still not so late, tats y not so crowded yet. Luckily...

We did some asking along the way before we finally confirmed that we r heading the correct direction to the peak tram station.Hahaha..Very tired! Have to "climb" up and down coz pass by quite a number of slopes...considered a tough job for mi la coz my back is really....pain.....!!!

And after lots of "exercises"...finally reached the peak tram station. Actually we did not have to join the long...long queue to enter coz we have the octopus card (our ez-link card). But not knowing tat, we still joined the queue! Hahaha..Saw these old tickets being displayed while q-ing (see above).

And while waiting for the peak tram to arrive, played with this cute baby q-ing beside mi!! She/he is really adorable...with red cheeks. Look so cubby when smiling!! =D

Here comes the Peak Tram!!! Which will bring us to the peak! During certain part of the journey, the slope is slanted at 45 degree!!! OMG!! So steep! My neck cannot take the pressure and I got to support it with my hand...so painful!! ='''( But worth it coz the night time scenery along the way is superior!!

Saw Jackie Chan...'s wax statue! Actually I really wanted to go into the wax musem. That's my purpose of going to the peak intially. But none of them wanted to go in with mi coz the tickets cost S$20 each! Felt very disappointed and sad...I just can't control my emotion and showed it on my face. YX suggested I go in myself and she will wait for mi outside the musem and she will not leave for toilet even if she's urgent...until I come out from it. But I refused. Coz I felt really bad to let her to so...

So...end up only took pic with the statue outside the musem. I know I should not show the unhappy faces..but I just could not control it at that time. Sorry guys....

Very happy to spend Xmas Day on the peak!! ^u^

LOOK!! Such nice scenery can only be found at the Peak's viewing deck! Felt quite cooling at 1st and tot that was the lowest temperature it can goes...so din put on my jacket. But suddenly, a big wind came and...........FROZEN!!!!! It's like only 18 degree celsius without the wind and -0 degree when the wind comes!! Learnt a lesson...never underestimate the temperture at the peak!!! =p

Saw this hmm...rein-dog in one of the cafe at the peak..cute!

And wat's the best thing to do at the peak? EAT ICE CREAM!! At around 15 degree celsius!! Never get a chance to try this in Spore!! One word.....COLD!!!

And their Haagen Dazs is even cheaper than Spore's!!

Poor Dan Dan frozen at the peak without clothings!! Time to shop for some clothings for her!! =p

But...she's lucky to be surrounded by warm-hearted friends...

And she just made some new friends!! Hmm...sorry, i dunno their names. Above is pic of Dan Dan, Ying Ying and her tamagochi.

We took a bus down the peak, thinking tat will be faster. But what we din realised was that, unlike the peak tram which comes down straight away, the bus got to turn and turn and turn...around the peak to get down. Results........all of us felt like vomitting upon reaching ground level!!!! Hahaha...actually we planned to take a ferry after alighting the bus to cross the river. But really cannot make it..think if we really took the ferry, all of us sure vomit!! In the end, took the MTR back! Hee...everyone turned pale after alighting. Hahaha...

Headed straight back to hotel to rest. All of us tired........zzzzz...zz....
